Pros
Learning to deal with the constant change was beneficial to apply in another career. Time off for managers was never questioned and toward the end enough time to explore employment after the Census was granted.
Cons
Micromanaging at its finest. Upper management put ridiculous time constraints on operations that compromised quality and job integrity of many. Decisions were never thought out and were immediately acted on rather than a deliberation phase and then a collaboration of management to make the final decision. This created massive rework and ultimately wasted taxpayer dollars that the government can't afford to lose in these times.
