Pros
They provide a lot of educational opportunities, medical benefits, etc. It's a stable job, and if you stick it out for 20 years you have a guaranteed retirement.
Cons
It's the military. You're going to move around a lot, and you're going to end up in a place or a job that you don't like at some point, but than you'll move. And it's vise versa is you like your job or location.
