Pros
great medical benefits and PTO offered, opportunity to work from home
Cons
everything else about the job. You schedule for patients all day and have to follow a script verbatim when you speak to the patients. They tell you that they want you to be as conversational as possible and not a robot, yet if you dont follow their scripting verbatim you get in trouble. You're constantly being berated by both the patients and the doctors offices who you must reach out to even though these offices are under UPMC as well. It doesn't seem like anybody cares about how you feel. They encourage you to report employees in the doctors office who are rude to you, however, nothing happens to these employees and they are rude the next time you call. They don't take anything you say into consideration and the management, who give you a welcome speech when you begin, won't even make eye contact with you after that when they walk past you in the office. Overall it was not a great work experience. The compensation is not worth the verbal abuse you go through.
