Most opportunities are contractual (giving you the freedom to come and go) and worldwide, a foothold in the UN.
Cons
The Swiss office: messy, and they treat you like a dog. You will be put in an in-between world: being an international civil servant without welfare benefits, but having to pay taxes and welfare contributions as a local (actually, you will be mandated to pay the employee as well as the employer's contributions because they are exempt).
