Pros
Great exposure to lots of tool, practices, projects. Ownership of work, no Micromanagement Open to innovation and new ideas Good benefits, flexible healthcare allocation, holiday buy back/sell scheme. Fully Flexible/Remote Working Attention to staff wellbeing and EDI Good social events Relaxed office vibe Great people, very multi-cultural. Amazing Travel oppourtunities for some staff. Work fully remote for 6 weeks a year. Team dependent, only 2 days in the office per month. 12% Pension Contributions as standard.
Cons
Salarys are low - progression can be slow. May not be a clear pathway for you to develop at all times. You will take on extra responsibilities not included in your role, without extra pay. Culture around progressions is not very transparent, different processes for different teams. Culture variability across teams. Can be quite bureaucratic at times which may be inefficient, this is due to connectivity with the UNEP system. Some staff prone to burnout but not all. Sometimes prone to working in Silos.
