Pros
Summer 2025 was my fourth summer with UKLC and every time I come back, I realize the same thing: it’s always about the people. Yes, there have been different days: sunny days and rainy days, peaceful moments and times of challenge, but I realize what really matters is how we see, hear, and support each other through this.
Working as a Course Director is both demanding and deeply rewarding for me: from answering hundreds of students' questions to collaborating with group leaders and teachers, managing schedules, creating Excel worksheets, organizing logistics and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. But I am sure, every task becomes meaningful only when it’s built on teamwork and empathy!
For me, the heart of it all is the human connection. The smiles, the quick chats in the hallway, the shared laughter after a long day, those moments remind me why I love what I do.
After four amazing summers, I can honestly say I’ve learned so much, and it's not just as a teacher, but as a manager and most of all, as a person. I’ve learned to trust more, to stay calm when things get hectic and to cherish the small, genuine moments that truly matter.
Because in the end, this job isn’t about perfect plans or flawless days, it’s about the people who are beside me, who lift me up, and make every single day worth it.
Cons
