Pros
1. A carve-out company from Volvo Group India in 2021. So, a few good engineering, purchasing hands and brains are still left to steer the ship. 2. Structured processes for project planning and execution.
Cons
1. Remote / hybrid working model is not favoured by management. Management expects employees to work from office all the time. 2. Local leadership is clueless and definitely not transparent about company's future. 3. Career growth is limited to those few who have spent 15+ years at Volvo. Internal transfers are quite limited. 4. No forward thinking at any mid-senior management level in most functions 5. Slowly turning from process-oriented to few person driven company. 6. HR policies which were carried over from Volvo Group are selectively implemented based on recommendations by few yes-men sitting at the top. Good, employee friendly policies available at Volvo group are not taken forward. 7. No brand presence in India and no plans in the future to introduce UD products either. 8. Remuneration is below par market for similar roles in similar industries. 9. Training to up-skill employees as per changing market conditions is non-existent.
