Pros

If in the field you make your own schedule on a monthly basis. Incentive pay for good performance. The people and camaraderie. Referral bonus. Clients that are very kind providing meals and kind words. Ability to promote and learn a new position if you have the right skill set. Everyone in the company truly desires that each move is excellent and that the client is satisfied. When you train in a new position the company puts a lot into you. I've seen people learn a completely new job and receive outside training to then qualify for more advanced positions outside of the organization. I have also seen people promote and grow into a new position and gain skills that they did not have before. Two Marines Moving is like a family. There is also a good bit of support post deployment.

Cons

Sometimes working in the field can be taxing but you can schedule your own time off. There is no paid time off at this time but overtime is available if you want it.

Pros

As an employee, you would assume I am biased or doing this just to save my job. I assure you, I am not. Working at Two Marines Moving has been a dream come true. I started as a part time employee to earn an extra dollar or 2, not thinking much of a moving company. I went full time after seeing all the fun, happiness and camaraderie there was between not only the crews, but the management too. From my experience, everybody I have talked to, even the CEO, has been very open and helpful in all aspects relating to the job. Nobody is there to keep secrets from anybody and it seems everybody understands it. Nick Baucom(owner and founder) is open to helping people start their own businesses if they just ask him questions. He shares his war stories with us(saying 70% of us are veterans, we are intrigued and fascinated) and everybody else shares theirs. I haven't seen any other boss quite like him. Don't get me wrong, it is a business and we do work our rear ends off but there's something about being knee deep in a long day with the guy to your left and right that just makes it all worth it. After a long day, being able to look around and tell them "man today was crazy" and grab a beer and talk about it. Very few have had a day where they go home upset or hating their jobs. Along with the work comes the fun. I personally have not worked at every company on the face of this earth and I don't plan to BUT I have yet to see a company that has a pool table, human size chess board, basketball court, full gym, and a lounge just available to employees whenever they want. We have had a few basketball competitions(since my employment) where the winning team gets a cash prize. Now if none of that wins you over, they will do pretty frequent BBQs too. I am fat and love every second of it. Coming back after lifting a piano up a flight of stairs to the best ribs you've ever had? I'll take 2 and another for the road. All of these amazing details, I am sure you're thinking "Maaaaan whats the downside?" and I got you. I am here for it. All they ask is that you work. CRAZY. I know. To make it worse, you make your own schedule, so if you want to work 1 day the entire month, you go for it. Honestly though, I have yet to see a downside since I've started. Everybody has been welcoming with open arms and just the best team and friends I can ask for. I wouldn't change a thing.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say
