The management is super accessible, and they give you clients all the time.
Cons
I work for $20 an hour while the compamy charges $35. This is a really large cut of our pay, and I can not say the company is justified in doing this. They claim that they provide the best tutors, but any actual good tutor probably leave quite soon. I mean the client is paying 75% more than what we revieve. Why not just go independent? We could get a 50% raise for almost no extra work, granted we are able to get clients.
After all the driving and prep work I have to do, I often get paid less than minimum wage.
In addition, a lot of things feel chaotic and disorganized, but I can not hold that against them. They are a startup and I know this stage can be rough.
