Pros

Lovely looking care homes Appearance of being prepared to invest Glossy brochure Free pens

Cons

A CEO who will call you from his holidays to berate you if a resident passes away as that has an effect on iis occupancy and profit Blame culture - someone will get sacked if something goes wrong, even if it's not their fault If the CEO doesn't like you then you may as well apply for another job because they'll push you out eventually Don't think that performance will save you. Doing well means nothing if your face doesn't fit. Endless focus on "first impressions" rather than delivering high quality care

Pros

The organization offers an outstanding learning environment where interns are truly treated as contributors, not just observers. From day one, I was encouraged to take ownership of tasks and was exposed to real-world HR practices that helped me understand the strategic importance of the HR function. The team culture is incredibly positive and collaborative everyone is approachable, respectful, and always willing to help. What made the experience even more meaningful was the continuous support and mentorship from my manager, who not only guided me but also pushed me to think critically, ask questions, and apply what I learned to practical scenarios. This internship has been a perfect blend of hands-on experience, personal development, and professional growth.

Cons

There aren’t any real cons from my experience. However, the organization offers the most to those who are proactive and willing to learn. It’s a place where growth is self-driven there are plenty of opportunities, but you need to take initiative. If you're open to stepping out of your comfort zone and actively engaging, you’ll gain valuable experience and continuous development.

Pros

Strong engineering culture with clear emphasis on AI/ML innovation. Ample ownership and autonomy for senior roles, allowing for deep architectural contributions. Exposure to cutting-edge work in LLMs, AutoML pipelines, and real-world recommendation systems. Supportive peers and a flat hierarchy encourage quick decision-making. Flexible working arrangements and solid work-life balance.

Cons

As the company is scaling, some internal processes and cross-team workflows are still evolving—this presents a great opportunity for proactive team members to shape best practices. Rapid growth and innovation can sometimes outpace documentation, but there's a collaborative spirit to support onboarding and knowledge transfer. Strategic decisions are often driven by long-term vision, which may occasionally delay shorter-term experimentation—but this reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability.
