Pros

- I like the autonomy of being able to manage myself and my work at Turing - Turing does a great job in trying to cultivate a thriving workplace culture - It has a true sense of vision and mission that trickles down from the CEO - There is a sense of connectivity and collaboration even though everyone is located around the world - And you have the benefits of remote work! - Lots of learning opportunities

Cons

- Turing is a startup! And like any startup many processes are yet not figured out and no SOPs for common processes - Many processes are very manual - this can mean long work hours - Training process is minimal - If you’re stuck, it can hold up your workflow as you try to figure it out - as getting in touch for help can sometimes take time as everyone is very busy also (However, everyone here is very nice and willing to help (just, as stated, very busy as well:) )

Pros

There are no Pros to working with Turing

Cons

It’s a very useless company that underpays. They select talents from Africa so they can pay cheap labour. They spend months resolving issues pertaining fees and disputes and reserve the right to hold off on your payment if they see fit. Very poor customer service, they have Alan their automated bot to respond to everything. Zero accountability Takes forever to get matched and paired to a new project even when you are qualified.
