Pros

Competitive pay and inclusive and diverse environment (Truthfully the only pros I can think of)

Cons

This company has incredibly high expectations of employees that they set up for failure. Not only was the BB&T and Suntrust merger incredibly disastrous but they gave an extremely small monetary bonus. This company's culture is terrible, Everyone is overworked and completely disregarded in conversations with upper management when brought to them. It has been a topic of conversation for several years. The worst part is that when you're overworked and under supported and a mistake happens (specifically regarding the branch tellers) they are extremely hard on you (threatening your entire job), when in all reality if the branch had been properly staffed, that mistake would have been easy to avoid! ****The pay is not worth the workload or treatment****

Pros

Decent Benefits, great team and direct report. Pay is good. Work is fine

Cons

Senior management. People are promoted to positions not based on knowledge but who they know. To compensate for lack of knowledge of the departments they manage, they micromanage and undermine others. It seems like a lot of the senior leadership left over are those who are experts in office politics but offer no utility to the team or company. Stealing credit is the name of the game. Forget about mobility. If you are useful to a narcissist, they will keep you in that department for as long as they want you.
