How about you see the head of the team, sometimes talking to you very nicely and mostly having a grumpy and rude face. You will definitely think twice to even say anything. Email team can get a leader who is matured enough to take the team forward, friendly, approachable, good to start the day with. Seems to be always grumpy, talking rude to her team members and when it’s raised we get to hear that’s the nature of the person. “ you can’t expect kindness” like seriously!!! There is no proper direction, no greetings and no other activities apart from work work. Ofcourse when u have lot many people to handle things goes crazy but also look at the caliber of the person if he/she can handle and give the direction and path we are expecting

Honestly, this place has gone downhill quite a bit. A lot of it comes down to leadership under Rishit Jhunjhunwala. Decisions don’t feel thought through anymore, more like reactive moves to show something is being done. The whole “shift-left” push is a good example. It was rushed in because other companies were doing it, without any real groundwork. Predictably, it created chaos, hurt product quality, and had to be rolled back multiple times. But even after that, there wasn’t much learning. Then the financial situation worsened, with losses reportedly around ₹1 crore a day. What followed was layoffs, and not in a way that felt fair. It didn’t seem tied to performance as much as management preference. 32 people were let go in first wave and 70 more in the 2nd, while it’s hard not to notice that removing a couple of expensive senior leaders could’ve had the same financial impact. There was also a strong feeling internally that this was done more for investor optics than anything else. On top of that, there were no proper backfills, so the remaining teams are just stretched thin. The culture has its own issues. There’s a noticeable concentration of hires from a Kerala-based company that got acquired, and over time it’s started to feel like a closed group with its own influence. A lot of people feel these hires were retained more because of that legacy than pure merit. When the layoffs happened, it made things look worse, out of 32 people, only one from this group was impacted, and that too at a junior level. That kind of imbalance doesn’t go unnoticed. Leadership dynamics don’t inspire confidence either. CTO Rosario seems to rely heavily on close personal connections. One such hire was promoted from Senior Manager to Senior Director within a few months, despite not having much credibility with the broader team. It creates an environment where people hesitate to speak up because it’s clear accountability isn’t consistent. At this point, morale is low. A lot of people are quietly preparing to move on because job security doesn’t feel tied to performance anymore, it feels unpredictable. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a stable, merit-driven environment, this probably isn’t the right place right now.

Similar to the challenges you would find in most product companies which includes balancing priorities, managing dependencies across teams, and navigating occasional process or organizational complexities that come with operating at scale.
