Pros

This is my first NP job and I am coming up on 2 years with the company. The Iowa leadership team made it a point to ensure I was comfortable and confident in my new position as a provider and I have continued to thrive. Our Iowa team of providers are phenomenal and we all have each other’s backs, whether it is giving clinical recommendations, covering each other for emergencies, or anything else, the team is there!!!

Cons

Weekend on call, although it is 1 x a month

Pros

I started with TruHealth a little over a year and a half ago and immediately fell in love with the company! I came from a fee-for-service model and did not fully understand the benefits that ISNP provides for both patients and providers. As a provider, my schedule is very flexible and I am not stuck charting 20+ notes/day! The decreased amount of charting compared to fee-for-service allows me the time to really get to know my patients and their families, it gives me the opportunity to provide better care and build those trusting relationships. We have a great, supportive team at TruHealth, no matter the issue, we come together to help each other out! We collaborate as a team on our more challenging cases to brain-storm ways we can provide better care. There is also a good amount of opportunity for growth if that is something you are interested in! I am so thankful I found this position, it has been great for my work-life balance and growth as a provider!

Cons

If you do not like building relationships or working with a team, this job may not be for you.
