Pros
The technicians really try hard to be part of the company. Managers try
Cons
Low wages and extremely long days. Everyday is based on an 11 hour workday. Starting Pay is very low several dollars below fast food restaurants. You’re expected to Manage a team that will work on their own unsupervised with only 9 days of training, have them be DOT certified, driving f350 or f450 trucks for low wages. As a manager be prepared to be in hour + meetings every other day with entire region that ridicule other managers and service managers if they don’t reach crazy goals set by upper management. A lot of promises to employees that are never fulfilled. Employees are expected to be at a property for less than 11 minutes to treat lawns with little to no real training. “Learn as you go” while customers are being taken advantage of. As a manager you are not allowed to manage. If all services are completed by October/ November they will lay off the lawn care specialists (workers) until after January. Some employees have been with the company as techs for over 20 years and are making $2 more than fast food workers.
