Pros

The occasional lead that is real and homeowner wasn’t lied to (1 in about 20)

Cons

It’s pretty simple , the solar market has changed and trinity refuses to change with it. When other companies were offering 10-20 percent more in pay it was understandable to be hesitant to leave not much more to be made for the risk of leaving. But the competition is now paying up to 10 x more for the same amount of work. I honestly don’t know how anyone would stay to make incredibly less money for the same amount of work. Don’t buy any of the bs upper management gives you about being a sustainable company and that’s why they pay how they do. It’s a cult and family and friends of the leaders get moved up to easy positions where they made 250 k a year plus for looking at charts and planning galas. Also don’t believe that their ops and leads are so great that’s why they pay the way they do , it’s the same anywhere else you go. I could go on and on but it comes down to one singular point , they are the lowest paying company to sell for and the most demanding. You can get way more for the skill set needed to do this job.

Pros

Great people, caring upper management, fun meetings, good coworkers, great work environment, uncapped commission potential, base salary, full health, dental, vision, variety of optional insurances, 401k with large company match, actually helping people save money, helping the planet.

Cons

Inter-department communication, slow company-wide decision making, bad apples have forced upper management to make decisions that feel like tight leash on entry level reps.

Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
