Pros

People are smart, but easy going. WLB is better than other consulting firms.

Cons

Pay is a little below market level for similar consulting positions in NYC WLB is dependent on leadership assigned to a project more than anything else Very few company sponsored happy hours that actually leave the office

Thanks for leaving this feedback - it's helpful to know what benefits people are looking for more of. We do an annual compensation market assessment, but it is helpful to know you are still seeing this in the market. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you are comfortable sharing more details. I'll make sure to bring this back to the necessary teams. - Sarah Zeoli

Pros

Strong cross-functional collaboration across teams, with a genuine openness to feedback and iteration. There’s meaningful opportunity to shape processes, frameworks, and go-to-market materials, so your work can have real impact. You get exposure to strategic initiatives and leadership conversations beyond your immediate role. The team is made up of thoughtful, capable colleagues who care about delivering high-quality work, and there’s a consistent focus on improving and refining outputs.

Cons

With continued growth, there is an opportunity to further mature and standardize processes to drive greater consistency and efficiency at scale. Enhancing clarity around frameworks and cross-functional alignment will further strengthen execution as priorities continue to evolve.

Pros

Good exposure to cutting edge innovation in life sciences industry, strong mentorship, some leaders genuinely care about you and your contributions

Cons

After associate Principal, the path to leadership is slow and vague. Burnout common among management team members. Large attrition seen in Senior Consultants and Engagement Managers and not enough is done to backfill with experienced hires
