THEY ARE STEALING YOUR PIPELINE. The Client will then handle all renewals from in-house, now nice. A sales job with no renewals or repeat business, are you kidding me?? How long can you last being shuffled around a different territory, that someone just went through mind you, all while having to make new connections constantly?? You can't and you won't. Just pray you do well enough for them to put you into their smoke and mirrors CDP (career development program) so you can get the opportunity to open a new office and be a part of the scam yourself. It's a burn and turn environment and they don't care. And they won't train you with current events in the power and gas industry, it's strictly rah rah go out there and get them b.s.
MY ADVICE: IF YOU ARE A CURRENT TRELEVATE EMPLOYEE, TAKE YOUR PIPELINE AND GO TO AN ENERGY BROKER WHERE YOU GET RESIDUALS ON YOUR ACCOUNTS FOR EVERY YEAR YOU SIGN THEM. THAT IS A TRUE CAREER OPPORTUNITY WHERE YOU CAN BUILD ON YOUR PIPELINE FOR THE FUTURE. OH, AND YOU WILL ALSO FIND THEY HAVE BETTER RATES FOR THAN YOU DID. OF COURSE YOU CAN'T COMPETE WITH A BROKER WHEN YOU'RE A ONE TRICK PONY AND YOUR TRICK ISN'T AS GOOD AS THE COMPETITION'S.
