Pros
Remote. Start pay is decent but don’t expect pay raise.
Cons
I worked for Treez for a long time, and I can confirm that all the positive reviews before 2022 were accurate. Back then, this company had real potential, but it immediately went downhill. They just have bad plannings all over the place. As others have mentioned, they’ve had multiple rounds of mass layoffs, they don’t even care about pip, just wanna get rid of you. Their product roadmaps? A complete disaster—unstructured, unrealistic, and somehow both short-sighted and impossible to deliver. The mid-managers demonstrated No leadership skills, no vision—just a bunch of people scrambling to do IC work while fighting for credit and visibility. Managing? Coaching? Building a functional team? Not even on their radar. And then upper management’ll lie to your face without a shred of hesitation and only admit the truth when there’s no other choice. Hardworking employees get “rewarded” with even more work while promotions follow whatever arbitrary, inconsistent logic they feel like that day. They threw piles of money at consultants, and somehow, the company is still a flaming wreck. If you’re considering working here, do yourself a favor and run.
