Pros
Learning new things and hone skills without too much micro-managing from superiors. Quite flexible and progressive as it’s a young company (mostly Gen Zs)
Cons
No guidance, no information, no mentorship, everyone expects you to know everything about the company within three months by just throwing you FAQs and expect you to learn the entire business model as if you are part of the founding team. And also you are required to be the representative to potential leads when you are unsure yourself and have to be the front line of complaints and dissatisfaction from consumers. It’s like, you are already thrown in the waters and then they give you a lifejacket to “sort it out yourself”. Also, the app sucks and the way they did not even do proper testings before launching is already a major red flag. and in the end you are simply doing other tasks not related to your actual job scope as they love changing tasks, ignoring efforts and ongoing work, bypassing this and that, and moving on to a new platform and that you are not aware of.
