Pros
I was terminated from this position, yes it is important you know this. I came to Travel Inc. at the end of the pandemic. I had been working food service/ retail for my entire career, and wanted a change. I've always had a love of travel, so I figured the travel industry would be a fun change of pace. I managed to land an interview with Travel Inc and I could NOT have been thrilled. The training schedule was AMAZING!!! I have never been able to have a regular schedule, but they managed to work out a schedule for training that gave room for ALL of the questions and personal help. A few months into my training I was switched from Government Travel to Universities. It wasn't a huge difference in process, but it was a relatively smooth switch. Our work load was really chill....until school started up again. There were some CRAZY days, but this team knew how to keep it fun, light hearted, and SUPPORTED!!! They adapted to the different needs of each associate to help find the perfect rhythm of the team. There were some rough patches, but they never made you feel like a burden for needing a little extra help. Ultimately, my termination was my own fault, but NOT ONCE did I feel neglected, disrespected, or unsupported by this company. If you want a good crew to work with, give Travel Inc a shot. They only hire the best, because they ARE the best. I may have missed the mark to stay, but it was a joy to even be apart of the team.
Cons
I think they sometimes take on more projects than they can really handle. My training was amazing, but I did feel like they were scrambling at times to find a way to train the incoming Consultants, help the ones that don't quite "get" it, and keep the promises to the Clients. They can do it, but it seems to stretch the team a little thin at times. Once they actually find their perfect formula and team, I'm sure this will be worked out.
