Pros

The company once had a strong, team-oriented culture.Collaboration across departments was encouraged and worked well

Cons

Recent changes in marketing have significantly impacted team dynamics. Restructuring led to a few layoffs, and instead of building on the current team’s strengths, new hires were brought in to fit a different vision. There’s a noticeable lack of transparency during decision-making. The environment has become high-pressure, with employees constantly feeling the need to prove themselves. Communication feels very top-down, with limited effort to understand existing workflows. Morale has taken a hit — the uncertainty and pressure are affecting people’s mental well-being. The team culture has shifted from supportive to political.

Thank you for your response. I haven’t received many responses mentioning some of the topics in your feedback and I’m very thankful it’s come up. It’s important we stay grounded and at all times, deeply invested in our Core Values. Our company has never been stronger culturally and that’s evident in our recent employee satisfaction survey. Show me an organization that isn’t high pressure, and I’ll show you one that's in gradual decline. High pressure is a prerequisite for progress and success…and ultimately winning. Championship teams are constantly pressured to deliver results, and I don’t want our culture to be any other way. We've always said we work hard, and we play hard - and we always will. The one thing we will never be is political. Honest, productive, and sometimes tense meetings can’t live in a political environment. Our direction and strategy are sound and sometimes an honest assessment of talent (just like any championship team) is required to ensure we have the right people in the right seats to lead the way. We want leaders, idea creators, hard chargers, never give up-ers, respectful, professional, passionate, hardworking, and honest team members who don't accept mediocrity or apathy. Our teams support one another through high pressure situations…that’s what a team does. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I will add this piece of advice: be careful working for organizations that do not have the ambition to be the best. Ambition to be the best, by nature, always be high pressure. Thanks for posting. Sincerely, Berkley Stafford, CEO

Pros

- Understanding and forward thinking leadership - Collaborative environment and great coworkers - Good Benefits (including half day Fridays during the summer)

Cons

Getting new tools to support workflow has taken a little longer than I hoped, but that seems to be improving.

Pros

Coworkers were fantastic. They were supportive, talented, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Strong team camaraderie made the day-to-day experience positive. Many individuals truly cared about the work and wanted to help the company succeed.

Cons

Pay was below the current market rate for developers. Leadership prided themselves on making rapid changes, which led to systems, priorities, and workflows shifting with little to no warning. These abrupt pivots caused significant rework and made long-term planning difficult. A growing blame culture emerged, where issues were sometimes placed on individuals instead of examining broader process or leadership problems. Communication from upper management was inconsistent. Growth opportunities were limited unless you specifically wanted to move into management, which made career progression difficult for technical contributors.
