Pros

New facilities, open floor plan.

Cons

Go Live date kept moving. This required local management to continue training and retraining on topics that had been covered over and over again. Upper Management came in near go live and made significant changes to process and procedures that left the staff that had been training for months unprepared. Work life balance was non existent. Was expected to work 12 hours days at go live and weekends on no notice. Multiple times I was required to work Saturday and Sunday when being told late in the afternoon on a Friday. Unable to retain talent. Due to the treatment of employees, broken promises, inconsistent messaging and breakdowns in the communication chain many skilled experienced leaders left the company near or before go live. I dealt with my own personal disappointments in being promised promotions and raises and then being forced to wait and not receive salary that was promised.

Pros

Working at TransCore offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative congestion pricing and tolling technology solutions that have a real impact on communities. Employees can gain valuable experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and develop their careers in a technology-driven environment.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better, in particular would like more vacation time. Conflicting priorities and sometimes the plan keeps changing making it hard to complete tasks on time.
