Pros

Easy going environment Fair amount of vacation days Flexible for family/sickness events

Cons

The pay will be drastically under and they will just say that Tyler has lower living expenses so its okay deal with it. Tyler does not have very low living expenses anymore. They say you get to choose what you work on but project you spefically say you don't want will find their way back to you if you aren't in the "cool group." Promotions in lower level management do not take into account merit it is primarily based on gender and race. A female or minority will be leading a team with 0 years experience and no educational background in the team's purpose.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with some truly great coworkers in the Service Department. There was a strong sense of camaraderie and support among the team. The company also does a nice job hosting events and internal gatherings, which helps build connection across departments. Benefits are decent overall, including a 401(k) and PTO offerings.

Cons

While the benefits package is fair, the medical coverage could be stronger. Leadership at one point felt very supportive and well-run, but after some key departures, the environment shifted. At times, it can feel more like working for a large corporation where employees may not feel as valued on an individual level. There is an emphasis on collaboration, but in practice, accountability can be inconsistent especially when it comes to addressing underperformance, even when concerns are raised.
