Pros

- Great Downtown Norfolk location. Very Central to all 7 cities. - Very nice office space and building. - Great work/life balance -Ample vacation time

Cons

I've been with the company for almost 4 years and have yet to see any upward mobility. My supervisor has continually promised things in my almost four years and none of it has come to fruition. I've even tried to move outside of my department into a new role, but received little to no support from my supervisor all of which baffles me because in my one performance review in my 4 years I received good marks. I feel like I'm just turning my wheels here and being lied to continually. As an employee in good standing I wish that I didn't feel this way and didn't have to write anything negative. But at some point when you feel defeated you have to say something without the feeling of being judged.

I appreciate the balanced review , and would like to help. It's unfortunate that you feel you haven't been provided growth opportunities, and please consider talking with the HR team about how we can help you and your manager map out a clear plan. Every employee should feel that he or she has room to build an outstanding career at Trader, and every leader in our org should be helping to cultivate that feeling among employees on a daily basis.

Pros

Leadership is accessible and open to feedback, even during fast‑moving initiatives. Smart, supportive colleagues who genuinely care about the work and the customers. Strong commitment to cross‑team collaboration, especially between Marketing, Content, Product, and Insights

Cons

Prioritization can shift quickly, which sometimes creates rework or unclear direction. Resource constraints can slow down execution on larger initiatives. Some decisions feel reactive rather than planned, which affects long‑term execution.
