Honestly the best and only good thing about working at Travek are the fellow employees. They are great.
Cons
Travek is a place where everything in the world is promised and very little is delivered. I was promised many things when I started with Travek, one of them being plenty of Roofing Leads. What a joke. They don't even have enough Leads for their 2 top salesman to handle much less the new Reps. If you don't care about making money Travek is a great place. Their new GM named Bjorn comes across as a great guy at first but you will find he is extremely dishonest and non supportive when it counts. He will continue to promise the world while delivering nothing and when you call him on it, he will get extremely agitated and possibly fire you for questioning him. Upper management across the board is pretty terrible. They demand a 53% margin and don't care that their prices are considerably higher than other companies they are compenting with. It is virtually impossible to make any money starting out for Travek as almost all leads go to their 2 top salesman, which I have no problem with the salesman, I have a problem with not having enough leads to go around but claiming they have plenty. All in all TraVek over promises completely and under delivers totally. Also their production team on the Roofing side leaves much to be desired. Endless change orders for every little thing and complaints from customers about under whelming work and missed deadlines will fill your inbox on the few jobs you do manage to get. Overall I give Travek 1 star and that's because of the other Reps otherwise they would get a zero or negative. They are the worst.
