Pros
Young atmosphere, some company gatherings, easy to find a parking spot, you can vent about the job to almost every employee, most people go out drinking every night after work, will hire just about anyone
Cons
Disclaimer: most of the reviews posted in the last 5-6 months are from recruiters, and I wanted to touch base with reality. TQL promises this 6 month training program, actually it's 6 months being an assistant or as I like to say, a dog on a leash. There are about 10 levels of management between each team and communication is all through email, everything is disorganized and no one knows where they stand. "LOGISTICS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE" WRONG - truck broker, that is what you are. My mentor once told me verbatim "rip that trucker off, we always use him for really cheap, who cares." TQL thinks it is all about the customer and does not realize the carriers are the reason you have customers. Have some respect. College graduates not from Ohio BEWARE! The recruiters focus more on the salary and all of these signing incentives, relocation bonuses, ect to get you to accept this job before you truly understand the nature of the position. I've been at TQL for about 6 months and can not tell you how many people have quit or been fired for trivial reasons. Everyone is constantly stressed out and the sales floor is filled with negative emotion. Reason why I'm writing this is because when I first read they reviews (about 7 months ago= before recruiters saturated them) it was all negative, and I still gave TQL a shot. Don't move away for this position, good things come to people who wait. PS: there is literally no room to grow within the company, you're either a broker and you make it at sales or you're let go.
