Pros
-Do Have Ability to make money if you get lucky or put it in A LOT of time (I'm not talking putting in 60 hour weeks, you'll be doing that anyway) -Good Benefits
Cons
Please note that this is not a rant about how much I dislike TQL or about how management is terrible or etc. etc. I still work there currently. This is just advice that I would have liked to known before I began working here. -Must spend first 6 months doing someone elses work for them while they bank out (which could be worse) -You work the day before and the day after: Thanksgiving, New Years, and yes X-mas too (you don't get time off). If you work away from your family don't expect to see them for holidays at all -You will work 3/4 Saturdays for a while, then 2/4, and eventually 1/4 but that's the best it gets -If you do make it, you will get a call EVERYNIGHT in in the middle of the night usually reagarding some mistake/error/mishab that occured from a truck driver or shipper --You're never really on break and are always on call -You are talking to truck drivers and dispatchers all day--If you cant deal with telling your friends that or will feel ashamed of telling others that then this job isn't for you--you will always feel ashamed about the job and will most likely start looking for new ones -I currently work there and will work there until I find something better..If I would have just been a bit more patient and kept interviewing with other companies then I def. could have landed a job that I would be more happy at..the question really comes down to do you think you're going to be able to locate A JOB in the near future: If yes, chances are the job is probably a better offer/opportunity than this one. -Overall advice: Wait if you can. If you can't, then you have to pay the bills and take it. If you have a solid degree, internship/work experience, and average interview skills, there's really no reason you should be considering this job. I hope this helps.
