This situation has led to an atmosphere of desperation and short-term thinking permeating the management structure, creating immense and often overwhelming pressure on employees. • Difficult Work Environment: The operational culture is marked by extremely high stress and, at times, what felt like manipulative management tactics to drive results. This high-pressure approach is not sustainable and contributes to a high turnover risk. • Monocultural Workplace and Communication Barrier: Approximately 90% of the staff are of Chinese background, resulting in a distinctly single-culture workplace. Effective communication is often hampered by a language barrier, as a significant portion of the internal discourse happens in Chinese and limited English proficiency is common. For those who do not share this cultural background or language, navigating professional relationships and achieving visibility for career success in the American market is exceptionally challenging.
