Pros
- colleagues are nice and friendly. Surrounding environment is good.
Cons
- due to shortage of staff, overtime work is a lot. You might get offered with monthly salary that is a bit higher than average rate, but if you count the overtime work your hourly rate is actually lower than average. Turnover rate is high.
- they control everything from China, management outside China does not have power. Everything has to follow China HQ's policies and decisions, but the people in this HQ have no idea about regulations and cultures and way of working in other countries, and on top of that they can't even speak English. They simply don't listen to you and everything has to be done in their Chinese way. They also like to set up impossible unrealistic goals even though there is a serious shortage of staff. The people in HQ also like to take away your profit so that they can get some profit share for themselves. They have little respect for you. Overall they are very unprofessional and quite greedy.
- the company does not have trust in the employees. Your email password is hidden from you, every time you go out to just collect BL you have to apply for approvals, every time you need a company chop for making documents you also need to apply for approvals. All these approvals just cost you even more time to proceed things.
- people only speak Chinese, and they don't care if you don't understand it, which is unprofessional and disrespectful. I had to join meetings there they only spoke Chinese, which was meaningless and a waste of time for me.
