Good - Frontend Engineer Tootris Employee Review

First great team and management support during training. The last place I worked at my training lasted about two seconds. Here my manager spent hours to personally train and he coached me over many sessions to better understand the company and understand how parents, providers and employers work together in the app. The culture is positive and they strive to make things in office fun and enjoyable for the employees. There's changes you have to get used to, but if you have worked for a growing company or startup its pretty usual stuff. It's a cool mission to help parents!!

Had to learn a lot about something I didnt know about (child care) to better understand how to guide new providers to use the platform. I didn't get that much from the website and a little from the interview. My manager is also crazy busy and sometimes tracking him down for a question is hard. THere are comments on Glassdoor that sound like a different company, i didnt personally see anything crazy but I dont know, not every place is for everyone i guess. Oh and I'm also an Apple person and the entire company is super heavy duty Windows, come on let Mac people in (it's a better computer anyways lol)

Great cause - making childcare more affordable. Small company means making a real impact with clients.

Leadership micromanages and escalates minor mistakes. Projects and responsibilities can be taken away without explanation or support. High employee churn—many leave or are pushed out. Little to no mentorship or guidance for professional growth. Workplace felt punitive and biased, with personal circumstances impacting treatment. Focus on minor errors distracted from real business priorities.
