Pros

Loose management Excellent work/life balance Low pressure Low expectations Nice big office Great location Food is provided ( Fridays ) and fruit a the start of the week Summary: If you are of the sort that wants a reliable job, that's not challenging this one is for you.

Cons

Positive reviews that you see on GD for this company are created under duress to bury factual reviews ( like this one ). Employees are taken for granted and are disposable: A lot of talent has left this company. It's not just "time to move on". There are several pain points, that could've been resolved, but management stuck its head in the sand. Close working conditions: Ask yourself why such a big office that staff use 1/5 of it. Conversations can often be heard through the glass doors, much to the ire of those working nearby. Those wishing to concentrate, are forced to listen to conversation amongst others. Staff are often left to fend for themselves: The directors are frequently late, or unavailable. With nobody in charge this ultimately this leads to a sloppily run operation as bored staff take advantage of these poor standards. No real recognition and little acknowledgement: There are no incentives to get the job done right. You are merely congratulated with words. There are no team building activities, save the typical after work drinks.

Pros

Flexible Relaxed environment Nice office and people Fun team days organized from time to time Great location within the CBD, close to buses and trains

Cons

Poor communication across the business and from management. Teams are silo’ed. Poor planning for current or future projects. No written requirements or expectations. Business is a feature factory. Zero concern for quality of work or security consequences as a result of taking shortcuts. Management does not accept advice from employees in their field of expertise. Valid suggestions are often dismissed due to lack of understanding and the unwillingness to learn. Management is unavailable for most of the week, meaning that teams have to fend for themselves. Due to the poor communication and zero planning of future work, team members are often left twiddling their thumbs.
