Pros

Great coworkers, unlimited PTO, 401k matching, remote work.

Cons

Compensation - I’ve been with my company for over 8 years and my salary laughable. I’ve been a top performer every year. The past few years, raises have been minimal even though we’re told it was the best quarter/year we’ve had in years. It was recently brought up at a staff meeting and they just BS-d their way through tough questions by giving an extremely vague response like “even top performers got a small raise because it differs from each organization and department.” But the company as a whole is doing extremely well with profits above the annual and quarterly goals??? Individual contributors who consistently exceed goals still only get a 3% raise?? Not only is salary compensation horrible, but there is no benefit to being a hard worker and doing your job well. Commission structures have become horrible. The gift top performers received last year were a hat and a tshirt that wasn’t even anyone’s correct size. And we were asked by our managers to say “thank you” directly to TW leadership because we should be grateful that we received something. I dread meetings with TW leadership. They’re so cold, and seem so uninterested in what we’re discussing but then love to make an example of employees on a whim by throwing them under the bus and providing critical feedback IN FRONT of entire teams.

Pros

Great opportunity for career growth and development. I’ve felt genuinely supported in advancing my career and building for the future. The benefits package is strong, work life balance is solid, and leadership is willing to invest in new ideas and technology. I’m especially glad the company is embracing AI and innovation rather than resisting change, because that gives me confidence in the long term direction of the business.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive in some areas, although that is likely true at many companies right now. Growth and transformation initiatives can also create periods where teams are balancing both exciting new projects and ongoing operational responsibilities at the same time, which can stretch capacity.

Pros

Togetherwork is in the middle of a real transformation. We are becoming a proper technology company. Not a holding company that acquired a bunch of software products and left them alone. A company that is actually investing, actually building, actually innovating for the customers who depend on us every day. That is exciting if you are a builder. It is uncomfortable if you liked the old way. The new leadership is smart, direct, and serious about doing this right. They have raised the bar on what good looks like, what shipping on time looks like, what accountability looks like. That is not a con. That is what good companies do. The products we build matter. Dog daycares, summer camps, faith communities, nonprofits, wellness studios. These are real operators running real businesses, and they deserve software that keeps up with what technology can do in 2026. We are the team making that happen. The AI investment here is not a slide in a deck. It is in how we work, how we build, how we think about what comes next. If you want to be part of a team that is moving toward the future instead of defending the past, this is the place.

Cons

The days are long but the things we are able to do more than make up for that. I honestly have no other cons. This is by far the best and most amazing experience of my career and I do not use those words lightly.
