The company is not the same one as it once was..
In recent years there has been a lack of competency throughout higher management, which is alarming and concerning. Too much corporate fluff and fancy words in presentations, but no real output. The organization has for a long time been too heavy on the management side, with many "higher management" roles that have unquantifiable and intangible output, serving zero purpose towards the organization. Luckily, these are starting to be weeded out (perhaps too late)
Countless poor decisions which have driven the organization into a downward spiral and a state of disorientation. There have been too many initiatives, projects, organizational changes driven by questionable motives. The disorientation within the organization means there are constantly new projects and initiatives (often focusing on non-profit maximizing areas ), which are not thoroughly thought through, lack long-term vision and are often abandoned midway.
