Pros

If you have 5 or so years of experience in the industry, you will get paid a better-than-average wage for the market because good pay is the only way they can get people to work here. Not shy about giving inducements for exceptional work, but don't hold your breath for unexpected time-off. Owner is well-connected. PR Dept. is run by a very capable professional and is less intense working on that side.

Cons

This is a media buying service owned by a woman who has never bought media. She will promise the clients anything and leave it to the staff to deliver at breakneck speed. Is a big proponent of "tell them what they want to hear." She thinks being the best is being the fastest. Fortunately the clients don't seem to know the difference. She has more respect for client-facing staff than for buyers and assistants. Once the assistants figure the place out, they move on. High turnover.

Pros

Management is consistently investing in employees. They let you try new things and are open to any and all ideas. They invest in your ongoing education and are wonderful to work with. My co-workers are supportive, enthusiastic, driven and adaptable to change. I have worked in a number of agencies, but this is the first one I can say that I am excited to start the workday.

Cons

If you don't adapt to change well, it is probably not the company or industry for you.

Pros

The remaining team consists of awesome people who are a wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity. The new office space is really nice. The projects and client work I took part on were interesting, exciting and fulfilling. I learned a an immense amount in my short time with the agency.

Cons

No SOP's. No new hire training- especially lacking in handing off clients (hours spent hunting down previous contracts, investigating billing reconciliation, trying to locate previous client work in folders that had been deleted). There is no standard pricing structure of the pillars of services offered, leading to many issues with poorly budgeted SOW's. Significant turnover, very short term tenure among the team. The agency operates as a small, startup-like organization, with its business model completely reliant on client projects. The loss of significant clients in 2024 resulted in substantial downsizing.
