-Extremely low compensation across most teams. It is hard enough to live in NYC, and its borderline impossible to do so at Tilting Point.
-There is an extremely biased feel to hiring and most of the upper-level employees are friends or old co-workers that have been brought in.
-Tilting Point would rather hire unqualified "upper-level" employees than promote within. This is mind-boggling as there are some brilliant people at this company.
-Promotions and raise are rare and small when it comes to the salary increase.
-HR is basically nonexistent. I do not feel comfortable bringing up my concerns as I do not believe HR will keep them confidential and upper management will be told.
-Questionable hires over the past few months. There have been some high-level individuals hired that are clearly not qualified but will continue to be compensated at a high level.
-I do not believe I have a clearly defined career path here will little to no ongoing training/learning.
-Tilting Point has stopped giving out equity so there is little to no reason to stay in hopes of selling.
-Money hungry upper management that is happy to give themselves raises, bonuses, equity while telling lower level employees there is no room from raises or salary increases.
-Some questionable ethical choices from upper management.
