      Tikal was nice in the begginingg.......

      Cons

      * empty promises * manipullative, not honest, and not trasperent management and especialy CEO * It always your fault when the client not satisfied, you need to sit down, be quiet,make them money * a lot of people leave Tikal because of this now, its sad to see. also when tikals fires people they just disapaer, no goodbye no nothing tikal tries very hard, through heavy internal propaganda, to make you believe you are in the best company in the world. But is your career will suffer from being stuck in a technological bad place, your salary will be below market (they have to make money some how), you will be in a situation where you have no control over your professional future and Tikal will NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have your back. Tikal is also a mini-communist state. The company heavily politicized and you shouldvery careful about voicing any opinion that go against from their woke agenda. there is bunch of seniors who close to the CEO and they act as elite despite Tikal loving to brag about how it a "flat' organization dont come here if you care about your sanity.........

      Pros

      Personal roadmap oriented company. You'll always get missions according to your next professional level and personal preferences. Flat organization - no hierarchy which translates to family atmosphere, eye-level with everyone, always. Knowledge transfer is being promoted. You're encouraged and given the time and resources to learn from others and teach them. You're never alone. Every domain has their constant communication levels for professional support and collaboration, plus social integrations. High quality administration department who's always happy to provide support and services of all kinds.

      Cons

      The company believes in open-source-software first and wherever it's available. This is not only the approach towards software but a life-ideology, and sometime it means opting out of the straight forward or convenient option. After a while of getting used to this, I got to realize this isn't a con but another opportunity to personally develop and break the comfort zone.

      Lots of work hours, but you can sometimes manage your work and life balance.
