Pros

Lots of Hours. The truck managers are actually very nice people. They are probably too exhausted to be mean.

Cons

Lots of Hours. The company itself is very misleading. They had a posting listed saying they needed part time couriers to deliver light packages for two days a week, 4 hours per day. What they really meant to say is that they are looking for hard laborers who will be working directly from a truck in any and every type of weather: snow, rain, hail, thunder, lightening, below freezing temperatures, scorching heat, tornados etc., to pull a cart weighing 100 pounds or more at least two times a day, 2-3 hours at a time throughout new york city, unassisted by a partner or jack pallets or any other suitable heavy lifting equipment on behalf of amazon. They will charge you $25 for a cheap uniform and take a non refundable $5 out of your check each week. They will also say that you get breaks, but you usually don't take them because everyone wants to get everything done faster to go home. Its like being an individual package handler, but for minimum wage. You are better off going directly to a notable package handling company where you will make $14 or better.

Pros

When I started it was decent. You worked hard and were paid for it.

Cons

But within a year I went from working over 75 hours a week to 10 and 20 hours a week. The company over hired to eliminate overtime hours and screwed every employee in the process. There would be 45 routes to fill and 60 employees that were scheduled to work standing there. So 15 employees would be sent home without any work, which means no pay for that day. Mind you, when you hired it was for a full time position. 10 and 20 hours a week is not full time.
