Pros

Thrive Alabama is a great agency to work for. The social work department is a team and work together to meet the needs of clients. Thrive Alabama also offers great benefits, pay and PTO.

Cons

Thrive Alabama is growing and with the growth there is always change. Sometimes these changes can be difficult to perfect but thankfully leadership does offer constructive criticism and monthly audits that allow one to improve their workflow.

Pros

Majority of the colleagues genuinely cared for the specific LGBTQIA+ patients we provided care for.

Cons

Working at Thrive comes with significant challenges that overshadow its few positives. Management often gives the appearance of concern but fails to address staff issues meaningfully. This behavior fosters a culture of gaslighting, where employees are made to believe they need to improve their time management skills. Human Resources also falls short, appearing concerned but ultimately allowing administrative misconduct to continue unchecked. The overall work environment at the clinic is toxic, with little to no support provided for handling complex patient cases. The underlying intentions of the clinic are profit-driven, prioritizing financial gain over the well-being of both patients and employees.
