Pros

Many of the staff are very compelling to work with, and people are generally understanding of your efforts.

Cons

If you don't have prior experience in the field, I'm not sure if I can recommend working here. The training program is not particularly robust and the quality of your training will be very dependent on which member of staff is training you. I recommend taking into consideration your readiness to handle difficult residents before committing to a position here.

Pros

I very much enjoy working with the elderly community. I love being able to create golden bonds and memories with them as well. Furthermore, I appreciate the knowledge, education and wisdom the residents have given me. With that being said, I've learned life lessons that I believe have been beneficial. Last but not least, working at a nursing home has better me in my emotional, mental and spiritual life. I see myself changing for the better and I love who I am becoming.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at three links is having to work during covid-19 which has caused a lot of issues. The issues it caused were working with people who might have the virus and working unexpected shifts. Furthermore, emotions regarding residents and co workers were extremely high. The facility is always understaffed, we are always overworked and not payed enough. I don't think they do a well enough job trying to understand and take into account what workers are trying to communicate to them.
