Pros

Good perks like restaurant and transport budget, health insurance, therapy, language classes, etc. They also give us an annual budget for learning. They are flexible when it comes to have a personal day off, doctor appointment, etc. Fully remote. Diverse and respectful company.

Cons

You can change client after a year but it always depends on something like if there's something else available, it's not as flexible. The working hours are fixed 8 hours a week. Even if the client has Friday's afternoon off, Thoughtworkers have to work the full 8 hours. It's a consultant company, so it depends on the market, if there's a crisis, there might not be clients, so you will stay longer in the beach (bench) hoping there are no layoffs.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the perks we offer. We definitely appreciate your view of our company as diverse and respectful. As a consulting company, Thoughtworks provides a wide framework of flexible working hours and schedule in alignment with our client commitments. Nevertheless, we value your feedback and invite further suggestions to enhance our company. Best, María

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.
