Expectations for employees are clear, and Thomas FX respects our hard-working, diligent, and competent employees, and encourages employees who are struggling, to ask questions. Safety in the workplace is of paramount concern. We adhere to all WCB Work Safe regulations and guidelines, and our WCB record is nearly flawless. Only one claim in 50 years, likely deliberately self-inflicted, by an employee who stuck his foot under a forklift to qualify for benefits, which he bragged about to a coworker. Thomas FX is a busy company, with a fast pace of operations, requiring dedication, focus, and energy to keep up with the flow, which is made clear during the hiring process. On occasion, an employee finds that they are unable to keep up and elects to leave, or is let go, when it is apparent that they are unable to meet the company’s minimum performance standards.
