Pros
It's a foundation that truly walks the walk when it comes to their mantra that "Life is for Living". It's a way of thinking that is instilled in each and every PA (Personal Assistant) that walks through their doors and is personally matched with a supported person with whom they will work with. The training and support provided by this foundation is second to none. When you're working as a PA there is always someone at the end of a phone, 24/7 if you're on shift and you need support. They really do look after their employees and are always encouraging when it comes to personal and professional development.
Cons
Unless you have an SVQ in social care, the starting hourly working rate is quite low. However, the foundation does suppport employees interested in completing this qualification and pay is increased when you successfully complete the qualification.
