Pros
The Chicago team is very small, and they did a decent job of hiring. It is a small but good group in which team members work hard and are team-oriented. Upper management is smart enough to hire only those who are qualified and needed.
Cons
Outside of hiring, upper management is quite clueless. They don't know how to manage projects, lead a team, don't have a technical background, don't have a financial background, don't understand the customers, don't know the industry very well......the founders are clearly wealthy, but don't have much in terms of relevant or meaningful work experience. The combination is predictably disastrous, as they look down upon their employees with condescension indicative of their own insecurity, and are completely lacking in their ability to lead through inspiration and motivation. Needless to say, they also lack anything remotely resembling an inspirational vision. They have a rather commodity product that they don't do a particularly good job of servicing.
