Pros
*Solid work-life balance with opportunities to work from home full-time, a flexible work schedule, and I feel that expectations overall are reasonable. We size our own work, which helps set expectations, and adjustments can be made when we encounter unexpected complications. *Teams are collaborative, helpful, friendly and inclusive. Working here is fun to me. *Management recognizes, rewards, and promotes strong performers, and genuinely cares about employee development with things like mentorship programs, one on one meetings, subscriptions to Pluralsight, career frameworks and planning sessions, creating opportunities to try new things, and clearly communicating performance objectives. *The health benefits are the best I’ve yet encountered, and compensation is competitive. *The company is strong and growing, and I’m happy to be contributing to our growth and strength. I’m also proud that I’m applying my skills to develop and improve a product that makes a real impact in people’s lives, particularly in the mental health space. *Our dev process is solid and continuously improving. We also use a modern stack, which depends on what you’re working, and I'm sure will continue to evolve as we develop new products and features. *Management and leads listen and respond to suggestions, and I feel that everyone genuinely cares about our success as a company and the individuals who make it work. *I also love how we can implement and deploy changes quickly, either to our product, processes, or IT/infrastructure. It’s refreshing in fact.
