Horrific frankly. - Operations The X Employee Review

Pros

They get you with some flashy perks - travel, discount for living at one of the communities, cool concept in general, "flexible" working hours, etc. Unfortunately, these "perks" all end up being a double edged sword and the bad far outweighs the good. I did meet some lovely people working here, but also met some of the most morally bankrupt people I've ever encountered.

Cons

As other reviews have mentioned - shockingly bad leadership that creates an insane and toxic work environment. Unclear work expectations, power trips from executives and CEO, the toleration of disrespect throughout the organization. This place is not worth sacrificing your mental health - and it's a near guarantee that you will should you work for the X company. Working here scarred me - I started my next job really jumpy and with regular panic attacks. Thankfully, I realized quickly that you can have a much better relationship with work when you work at places that don't gaslight and abuse employees. I wouldn't wish working for the X Company on my worst enemy, but I didn't really have anyone I would consider an enemy prior to working at the X - I now move peacefully through life knowing that the vile individuals that remain in charge there are living and working in a prison of their own making - trust me, this place is a sinking ship. Good riddance. Save yourself some unnecessary trauma - DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

There are some really smart and compassionate people who work here and the vision/product produced is very interesting. They do attempt to have a diverse group of employees although management doesn't necessarily match that diversity which ultimately leads to high turnover.

Cons

Severe lack of appropriate management/leadership. "Unlimited PTO" really means you get no actual days off and are expected to be reachable no matter the occasion. Company culture is extremely lacking - Especially the divide between seasoned and new employees. There were several individuals who were very condescending and made the working environment uncomfortable. Overall expectations are unclear and the expected performance does not line up with compensation for the market. After leaving and starting in a new role, it became very clear that this environment was not healthy day-to-day.
