Pros
Really nice team, always felt supported and understood. I had a great team leader, and I think most of the team leaders would be equally as welcoming. Lots of training so a great way to learn more about SEO.
The job comes with plenty of perks, a decent amount of holidays, hybrid working, flexible hours, social events and more.
Cons
Better as a stepping stone for a career in SEO, the wages are too low for the amount of work expected, and the job is very stressful at times.
Difficult to take holidays without feeling extra stressed before and after, rarely any cover for this as everyone has a high workload.
You also have to log hours each day even for small admin tasks which feels like micromanagement and I don't like this (some team leaders may be more strict on this than others).
Overall, it really depends how well you handle stress. Working here took its toll on my mental health, I'd spend the evenings and weekends worrying about meeting deadlines, but I also learnt a lot and it was a good stepping stone to a much higher paid and less stressful role.
