Worst job I've had in my professional career (and I've worked directly under a terrorizing CEO for a series A startup that went public last year, so that's saying a lot). My own mgr was fine but the company has completely non-collaborative culture of "no", tenured folks perpetuating a culture of superiority and inflexibility to change and growth, and they are still spending money fast than they can plan how to spend it wisely. This was the most unfulfilling role I've had in my entire life. my resting heart rate dropped from 68 to 52 a week after quitting and has stayed there even 5 months into my current role at an even faster paced, recently public company. TRR may think they're wearing $2000 "adult" pants, but they still haven't noticed that they're walking around with their fly down.
