No such thing as life/work balance, they just want you to work, work, work and work some more. I understand that this is a "startup" (it isn't really, it's been around for 7 years now) but people can't be treated like machines.
Performance is very numbers based, and basically any hourly employee gets extremely screwed over here. Salaried employees get treated a little better, though barely. People that are paid based on commission/sales seem to be the happiest here, they essentially get to set their own schedules.
If you're good at what you do, you'll never get a promotion because you're too essential.
