      Pros

      After many years working with The Pique Lab, I can say that they really do take care of their employees. My experience has truly been worthwhile and there are a lot of factors that contribute to this: competitive compensation (with annual raises!), several perks and benefits, the trust that they place on everyone with regard to their work output. My work life with TPL has been easy because of the current remote setup, though there are still occasional face-to-face opportunities. TPL provides its employees with the tools to help us accomplish work efficiently, whether it's material resources or clear instructions. I'm proud to work at TPL because it is a company with a strong vision, especially when it comes to understanding what its employees need.

      Cons

      I have to note that when it comes to my position (and my current team), there is not much room for career progression. Although it is wonderful to see the company expand at such a significant rate, my job has currently been limited to its daily tasks since the beginning, at least so far.

      Pros

      As an ex-MOE trained Science teacher of more than 25 years, I find that the system is too rigid in hiring new teachers. It seems to overlook senior or experienced educators in their 50s, even though many are MOE-trained and well-qualified.

      Cons

      The work booklets exhibit several errors in their answer keys. For instance, in the 'Web of Life' (OEQ) booklet, the answers fail to clearly articulate the claims made in the earlier segments of the same question. This inconsistency suggests that the answer key may not meet the expected rigor. As a concerned parent, I find it troubling that the tuition center charges high fees while providing a curriculum that raises questions about its quality and reliability.
